BMW Lock Adapter (XT2/XT3 - Wonderwheel) for new electronic BMW cradles

The Lock Adapter is suitable for the Teqmount WW adapter on the newer BMW cradles with electronic release. PLEASE NOTE: If you have a BMW with a lockable cradle with a key, choose this lock adapter.

Installing the lock adapter
1. Slide the lock adapter over the release mechanism of the device holder.

2. Tighten the two bolts hand-tight with the Allen key. Do not overtighten them.

3. Then click the Zumo into the adapter.

The Zumo is now locked to the adapter.

You can remove the Zumo and the adapter together from the BMW cradle as a single unit via the electronic release.

Removing the adapter from the Zumo
1. Loosen the two bolts slightly with the Allen key. (The small bolts do not need to be completely removed.)

2. Press the top of the lock adapter to unclip the Zumo from the holder.

The lock adapter is not suitable for the XT1 and non-Wonderwheel variants.

The lock adapter does not work with the older BMW mounts that are locked with a key.
